Here's a clip from X-ing, the student film I spent a semester working on Winter 2009. In the clip below I helped texture (paint) the bench on the far right of the screen beneath the gas station window at seconds 12-13, and, more importantly, I animated a brief closeup, seconds 33 through 35. This is the first 3D film I've worked on. My fellow students/coworkers were a tremendous help, and even though I don't expect to be in the credits for X-ing, it was an invaluable experience for me as a would-be animator. Most of all I enjoyed the camaraderie with my peers and the satisfaction of seeing an end product. I hope to work on the next film if there's an opportunity before I graduate, even though I'm only a Visual Arts and Computer Science double minor, (and an Italian major).
